Gamification of the educational process has become a significant trend in education, transforming traditional learning experiences into interactive, engaging, and motivating activities. The concept leverages human psychology by promoting competition, collaboration, and a sense of achievement.
In recent years, the scope of gamification has expanded beyond conventional educational settings, finding its place in various domains, including religious education. Our client is a global religious organisation, who wanted to create their own application for education and entertainment at Sunday school. This tool makes religious education more appealing and accessible to children, helping them to engage more deeply with their faith and religious teachings.
We created this project from scratch in 2018 and in total we cooperated less than 1 year unless all the desired features were ready. Honestly, there were many similar services available on the market, however the client had a solid list of unique requirements and preferences which made using ready-made applications or at least plugins not possible and we started tailoring a new application.
Creating this web application with educational and entertaining tasks was not much complicated from the technical side. However for us it was a new direction and first cooperating with a global religious non-governmental organisation.
Nice to know that the project keeps on growing
